The numbers underscore the need.
66% of Americans say most people need long-term care insurance, according to the 2020 Insurance Barometer Study that Life Happens and LIMRA conducted. However—and here’s the catch—only 18% say they own it. This need-gap is up 8% from a year ago and suggests an active market demand from 110 million consumers.
November is Long-Term Care Insurance Awareness Month. And while Life Happens does not oversee or coordinate this campaign, we think it’s important to support our members who work with this important product. We have a range of LTCI resources, including a new "What You Need to Know About Long-Term Care Insurance" brochure, Barometer stat graphics, a social-media calendar and a completely revamped LTCI 101 section of our consumer website. Explore the different resources to find which materials are right for your campaign.
Choose what works, and let Life Happens and the platform help you customize the resources to meet your branding and compliance needs. If you have any questions or would like help customizing resources, send your request, company logos, brand guide and desired completion date to Erik Svensson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Life Happens resources are all available only to member companies through their company account. If you don't have an account or are having trouble logging in, contact us at email@example.com.
