Life Happens kicked off Life Insurance Awareness Month with a Twitter chat on September 2! The life insurance industry came together to drive valuable discussion about our latest study, “Tough Talks During COVID-19.”
The pandemic has been a reality check, making many of us seriously consider our mortality for the first time. The chat served as a timely reminder that life insurance can be a financial lifeline in times of uncertainty—and the best time to get life insurance is now.
Thanks to the great participation from 140 different users, the hashtag #LIAM20Chats had 985 mentions garnering more than 21.5 million impressions between August 5 and September 2, 2020. Top authors included LIAM Spokesperson Brooke Shields, New York Life, USAA, State Farm, Principal, Lincoln Financial, LIMRA, NAIFA, and ACLI.
